The Rise of the Synths movie narrated by John Carpenter – The Master of Horror will have it’s Irish Premiere in the Light House Cinema Saturday March 14th.

Organised by Doc’n Roll Ireland this movie charts the rise of Synthwave & 80’s nostalgia that is relentlessly reflected today in film, television video games – and of course, also in music.

Tickets are available from Lighthouse Cinemas website with a Q&A & Afterparty following the show;

The Song Confessional Podcast

Page favourite Walker Lukens recently started a podcast The Song Confessional with his co host Zac Catanzaro.
It’s a really unique format in that the first half is a “confession” from a member of the public with stories ranging from deaths, infidelity, parents growing weed & lots more. The 2nd half is a band that takes that confession & turns it into a song.
Check out the latest episode where Odessa turns a love letter about a relationship breaking up into a song. Available everywhere you get your podcasts, Spotify, iTunes etc.
